Of elegant ovoid form rising to a tall cylindrical neck, finely painted in rich enamels and extensive gilt over a crackled ivory ground with dense peony blooms and flowering shrubs beside bamboo fences, the shoulder tapering to a neck decorated in diaper patterns reserved with shaped panels of phoenix and auspicious motifs, the base signed in iron-red and black Dai Nippon Satsuma Tokozan.
