Of shallow circular form, the interior finely decorated with a continuous scene of courtly figures engaged in an elegant gathering, rendered in delicate enamels and heightened with fine gilt detailing. The figures are arranged in a rhythmic procession across a finely crackled ivory ground, their robes carefully patterned and subtly shaded, reflecting the refined hand associated with the Kinkōzan workshop.
The exterior is richly ornamented with dense floral decoration, including chrysanthemums and seasonal blossoms, painted in iron red, soft green, and gold, framed by patterned borders to the rim and foot. The base bears impressed Kinkōzan seal.
