Of elegant baluster form with a gently flared neck and well-proportioned foot, the body is set with two shaped reserves against a deep cobalt-blue ground, densely enriched with gilt scrolling karakusa.

One reserve depicts a tender domestic scene of a mother and child seated by a riverbank beneath a maple tree in autumnal tones, the figures rendered with delicately detailed expressions and finely patterned robes. The reverse presents a tranquil landscape with a willow tree and distant dwelling, executed in soft tonal washes, creating a quiet sense of depth and atmosphere.

The reserves are framed within finely drawn gilt borders, contrasting with the richly ornamented ground, where continuous gilt floral sprays extend seamlessly across the body, shoulder, and neck, forming a unified and harmonious decorative surface.

The neck and body further embellished with finely executed gilt decoration, typical of Kinkōzan workshop production.

The base bearing a gilt Kinkōzan zo (錦光山造) signature within a cartouche, together with an impressed Kinkōzan workshop mark, consistent with late Meiji manufacture.

Height: 12.3 cm
