Of elegant ovoid form with short everted neck, finely painted in soft enamels and gilt over a crackled ivory ground with continuous river landscapes populated by figures, temples and pines beneath Mount Fuji. The ground richly worked in minute gilt dots creating a luminous atmospheric effect. The shoulder decorated with brocade panels of irises and geometric patterns, the neck with a gilt chevron band, the base with a scrolling gilt border.
Signed to the base Hōzan within a red square cartouche.
