Of gently flared circular form, finely painted to the interior with an elegant courtly scene depicting figures in a garden pavilion beside a flowing river, beneath flowering branches and trailing wisteria. The figures are rendered in rich polychrome enamels and heightened with extensive gilt, set against a finely stippled ground.
The border finely decorated with floral and geometric motifs in iron red, gold, and cobalt, the exterior similarly enriched with dense gilt ornament.
The base bearing a gilt square seal reading Toyama (富山).

Condition: Very good overall, with light age-related wear consistent with period.
