Modelled in the form of a pumpkin or gourd with deeply ribbed sides and a rich warm brown patination, the exterior applied with finely worked naturalistic motifs including a wasp with gilt wings, a dragonfly, frog, beetle and leafy sprays in silver and copper, the interior fitted with a removable white porcelain liner.
