A Fine Japanese cloisonné enamel shouldered vase with a long neck, worked in silver wire and musen(wireless)technique. The decoration depicts two bamboo trees and a bird perched on a branch in the foreground, all set against a soft pale-green ground, with a shakudō rim and brass foot. The background bamboo is executed in musen (wireless) technique, demonstrating the artist’s high level of control and subtlety. The composition is closely aligned with designs produced by the Ando Jubei Company.
