A fine Japanese cloisonne enamel box and cover.
Meiji period.
Of a round shape, worked in silver wire , the lid decorated with two birds, flowers and foliage on a pink background, sides with goldstones and chrysanthemums on a dark green background. The interior is covered with turquoise enamel.
In good condition commensurate with age.
