A finely worked cloisonné enamel vase of elegant faceted form, decorated in four panels representing the Four Seasons, each reserved on soft pale green and celadon-blue grounds. The scenes include maple leaves of autumn, blossoming plum of spring, chrysanthemums, and delicate seasonal flora, animated by a Japanese tit in flight and at rest.

The panels are enclosed within a rich deep-blue ground intricately worked with scrolling foliage and stylised mon motifs. The neck and foot are bordered with a precise triangular foliate diaper pattern in yellow, green, and black enamels — a characteristic decorative feature associated with the Inaba workshop’s refined production.

The silver footrim is signed, and the base bears the Inaba Company mark, confirming workshop attribution. The quality of wirework, colour harmony, and panel composition place this piece among the more elegant late-Meiji examples of Kyoto cloisonné intended for a discerning export market.

Height: 13 cm

Condition: Excellent overall condition with minor age wear to the silver rim, as expected.
